Today I will write a post about another Colourpop lip product that I currently bought and used.
It's a Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Ouiji :)

Product Review :

So there are many matte liquid lip products everywhere, every brands have their own matte liquid lipstick. Just name it and we'll gonna have a whole day just to mention it. Lol~










The product came in the plastic packaging with the silver cap. It's very sleek and slim. Of course it also came with the white box, just the same as their Lippie Stix. I personally love the packaging :)

Unlike the Lippie Stix, we can see the ingredients of this product printed on the box, not in the separate paper inside the box.



The applicator is just an ordinary stiff applicator. It can do the job perfectly because I don't need lip brush or lip liner to lining my lips beforehand to get the precise application.

Freshly applied : Left one swipe, Right three swipes

Dries super matte : Left one swipe, Right three swipes

I pick the shade Ouiji because I just want a bright coral color and I get exactly what I want because Ouiji is the bright coral color with the orange hint on it. I love the color of course, but I don't like the finish. At first it dries beautifully, but at the end of the day it really dries out my lips. It comfortable only for the first one and two hours, and become pretty dry after it.

The pigmentation of this product are super great, you will get the vibrant color just in one swipe. You will also get the exact same color even you apply it for three or more swipes. Since the application can be a little tricky, I suggest you do not layer the product on the lips because it can be patchy and messy. The best way to use this Ultra Matte Lip is by using just one even coat :)

Since it is an ultra matte lip, the staying power is amazing. It doesn't transfer at all, even after eating there only few part will disappear. But when you eat the oily food, the lipstick inside your lip will definitely gone since the only way to clean this Ultra Matte Lip is with the oil base makeup remover.

Conclusion :

I think it is a good affordable matte liquid lipstick. I'm not really like the fact that it dries my lips at the end of the day. But I really love the finish and the staying power. They also came with many beautiful color, so many nudes and bold color your can trust. I don't regret buying this Ultra Matte Lip because overall it is a great product that worth to try for me. I will not definitely buy ABH Liquid Lipstick with IDR 400k price tag just to try this kind of lipstick. So if you want to try that kind of super matte lip product, I definitely recommend this Ultra Matte Lip for you :)
