PRODUCT REVIEW

I bet you already heard about this City Color Glowing Complexion Illuminating Cream many times. At first, I don't really want to try this product because I don't really use highlighting cream whatsoever. But, many people in Beautilosophy said that this Illuminating Cream is so great. And since the price is pretty affordable I decided to bought it




This product came in a regular plastic tube, I don't have any special feeling about the packaging. I think it just a standard packaging, lol~

The thing about all City Color product is they don't really have pretty and fancy packaging in my opinion. No wonder they have pretty affordable products tho.


As you can see in the picture above, this Illuminating Cream came with a small funnel. So you really can handle how much product you want to dispersed.



I can feel it have a very thick consistency when I disperse the product out of the tube. It doesn't feel runny at all. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that this product only came in one universal shade. Hence, I will match whatever skintone you have.

When I spread it on my arm, I can feel it indeed pretty thick but it is also dries really quick. You really need to blend it fast if you don't want it to cling on some parts of the face.

I must say that this product doesn't meet my expectation, since it is not "blinding" enough for me to use it as an highlighter. Sadly, It is also emphasize my skin textured that I don't even know I have. Moreover, I also think that this Illuminating Cream makes my skin feels really dry. This product probably suit for person with oily skin.

CONCLUSION

I must say that I don't really like this City Color Glowing Complexion Illuminating Cream. I doesn't really make my skin look glowing. Hence, I don't think it is the right product for my normal-combination skin. My skin feels so tight and uncomfortable after I put it on my face. At the end of the day, It is just me and my personal preference. It might suits your skin type^^
